1. Solar PV Module – PDI
& Raw Material Inspection

A. Raw Material Inspection (At Module Factory)

1. Solar Cell Inspection

  • Cell type verification (Monoperc PERC / TOPCon / HJT, as per approved BOM).

  • Cell efficiency binning & mismatch tolerance check.

  • Visual check for micro-cracks, edge chipping & finger breaks.

  • Cell manufacturer & traceability verification.

2. Glass Inspection

  • Tempered glass thickness & tolerance verification.

  • Anti-reflective (AR) coating quality.

  • Edge finish & impact resistance check.

3. EVA / POE Sheet Inspection

  • Thickness, transparency & curing properties.

  • Manufacturer approval & shelf-life verification.

4. Backsheet Inspection

  • Type (Tedlar / PVDF / PET) verification.

  • UV resistance & adhesion quality.

5. Frame & Junction Box Raw Material

  • Aluminum alloy grade verification.

  • Junction box IP rating & diode make.

B. Finished Module Pre Dispatch
Inspection:

  • Nameplate rating & serial number traceability.

  • Visual inspection (glass cracks, frame deformation).

  • EL / Flash test report verification

  • Insulation resistance & continuity check.

  • Connector (MC4) make, polarity & compatibility.

  • Packaging, palletization & transport readiness.

2.Module Mounting Structure (MMS) –
PDI & RawMaterial Inspection

A. Raw Material Inspection

1. Steel / Iron Sheet Inspection:

  • Base material grade verification (IS / ASTM).

  • Chemical composition & mill test certificate (MTC) review.

  • Sheet thickness & dimensional tolerance.

2. Galvanization Raw Material:

  • Zinc purity & coating process verification.

3. Fasteners Raw Material

  • Bolt, nut & washer grade (8.8 / 10.9).

  • Hot-dip galvanization / SS grade verification.

B. Finished MMS Pre-
Dispatch Inspection:

  • Section dimensions & profile accuracy.

  • Galvanization thickness (micron) measurement.

  • Welding quality (visual & dimensional).

  • Hole punching accuracy & alignment.

  • Structural drawing & load design compliance.

  • Packing & dispatch condition.

3.Transformer –

B. Finished MMS Pre-
Dispatch Inspection:

4.LT Panel –

  • CRCA sheet thickness & grade verification.

2.Busbar Raw Material:

3.Protection Devices:

  • MCB, MCCB, ACB make & ratings.

4.Quality / Inspection Oriented:

  • GA drawing & schematic compliance.

5.More Technical:

  • Routine electrical tests (IR, functional).

5. HT Panel / Switchgear –
